What the board actually does
The Roblox description says cash spent on the research tree multiplies income, and finishing a zone research tree unlocks the next mine. Each layer has its own board. Zone 1 research does not fill Zone 2.
Named paths
- Underground and mine nodes raise ore tiers, luck, and higher drop chances.
- Core nodes include Fracture and Strike. Play notes call these the expensive ceiling raises.
- Some milestones add crew slots so more miners can stand on the plot.
- Luck is the early node tied to rarer ore. Mystic-tier nodes were described with base spawn rates from 0.3 percent to 3 percent. That range is not a personal drop table.
A buy order that matches the gate
- Read the node that the current gate still requires.
- Buy that path before optional income nodes if the next mine is locked.
- Keep enough cash for the new shop pickaxe. A finished board with an empty wallet still leaves you on weak tools.
- After the gate opens, return to the new board. It starts over at a higher price scale.
- Once the zone is clearable, income and luck nodes raise the value of runs you can already finish.
What not to assume
No public list gives every node price. Fracture and Strike cost more than basic luck in the sessions that named them, but the number on your board is the one that matters. Use the payback calculator only after you type that live cost and the extra cash you measured.
Index versus research
Filling the character and ore index is separate. Deeper mines do not require a finished index. Index progress is mentioned as part of reaching Soul Forge and later mutation slots, and one session tied the next Soul Forge step to gaining another basic mutation. Treat that as unfinished public detail, not a checklist with known costs.
